Global Health Internships provide students interested in global health with the opportunity to participate in clinical rotations and public health experiences while being immersed in a local community for 5 weeks. Students will earn six units, which includes two units for an online course that provides students with the space to reflect on their experiences with a UC Davis instructor, as they intern for 30 hours per week at a specialized global health program site. There will be 24/7 on-site support from our trusted program provider, Child Family Health International (CFHI). The academic course associated with the internship is intended to connect students to broader social, medical, and cultural contexts. Through online discussions, students reflect on the realities, determinants, and ethics of healthcare in their host countries.
