Accommodations
Students will stay at University College Dublin Summer Residence. They provide on-site support staff, security, and on-campus services. Via bus, the commute time to central Dublin is 20 minutes.
Each student has their own single bedroom with ensuite bathroom and apartments include Wi-Fi, fully equipped kitchens, linens, and laundry (either in-building or next door). Our on-site staff supports students with any housing-related issues, including room change and repair requests.
You should be open to all types of accommodation as housing placements are based on a number of factors such as availability, program length, cost, number of participants and proximity to the internship site. Specific details about accommodations and local transportation to and from the internship site will be provided approximately 2 weeks prior to departure.
UC Davis reserves the right to change the accommodation location. Should this be necessary, we will arrange alternative lodging. Please note that elevators, air conditioners and other modern conveniences may not be available in all locations.
Meals
A welcome and farewell dinner is included in the program cost. All other meals are not included in the program cost and are the responsibility of the participant.
Excursions and Activities
There will be two cultural activities and two skills-based workshops/professional networking activities during the program. Specific activities vary based on the local events at the time of the program. There are typically also cross-cultural or professional development activities throughout the program and students will be provided with recommendations of supplemental activities as well.

Study Abroad Advisory of Student Risk
Participation in this UC Davis Study Abroad program requires travel to and extended living in a foreign location(s) abroad. UC Davis Study Abroad endeavors to reduce and mitigate risk wherever possible. However, the environments and risks associated with living in these locations are substantially different than those found during a regular course of study at UC Davis. All participants must download and review the following information prior to departure. Any questions should be directed to the Program Coordinator.
