From the international halls of Parliament to global nonprofits, students participating in the University of California Education Abroad Program (UCEAP) transform their study abroad experiences into powerful career changes when they intern abroad. Recently, seven students from UC Berkeley, UC Davis, UC Irvine, UC Los Angeles, UC Santa Barbara and UC Santa Cruz received awards celebrating their outstanding achievements and personal growth while interning abroad.
This award provides students up to $2,500 to learn about and advance LGBTQIA+ wellbeing and rights globally, including through international, USA-based, or virtual activity.
