Fee Notes
- UC Davis Course Fee and Campus Fee posted here are estimates based on currently approved amounts. These figures may not be final. Actual tuition, fees, and charges are subject to change by the Regents of the University of California and could be affected by State funding reductions. Accordingly, final approved levels (and thus a student's final balance due) may differ from the amounts shown. UC Davis Tuition and Fees are different for Graduate and nonresident students. Campus policy dictates that study abroad and other off-campus programs are not exempt from the UC Davis Summer Campus Fee, which covers services/initiatives such as the Student Health Center, Counseling and Psychological Services, Unitrans, Recreation, etc. Students have access to these services during the entire special summer session period.
Program Fees include
- Lodging for the program dates: shared rooms in Residencia in Vedado neighborhood and in shared rooms on overnight excursions
- Breakfast and dinner while in Havana Residencia and meals during last week of program
- Airfare from Miami to Havana, Santiago de Cuba - Miami
- Transportation for program related field trips and excursions, including airport pickup and drop-off in Cuba
- Entrance fees and guided tours by regional specialists
- Travel guide for Cuba
- GeoBlue health insurance
- Academic Visa
- Cultural activities and lessons by local educators
- Salsa classes
Expenses Not Covered by Program Fees
- Estimated personal expenses outlined in the table above
- Personal travel during and outside of program dates
- Entertainment expenses including alcoholic beverages, and personal purchases
- Out-of-pocket expenses for medical and other emergencies
- Uncovered medical expenses for special needs
- Flight from home airport to/from Miami
- Hotel in Miami if your flight includes an overnight layover
