Linda Amrou is an international human rights and immigration attorney with over a decade of experience developing and executing complex, innovative global programs and development initiatives within academic institutions. She currently serves as Global Affairs’ Assistant Director for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Interim Director of DEI Education for the Division of DEI at UC Davis.
Patricia Turner, Ph.D., is an Education Specialist with the Center for Educational Effectiveness (CEE). At CEE, Patricia enjoys collaborating with faculty, graduate students and staff on the design and implementation of engaging, student-centered instruction with the goal of providing educational experiences that result in deep learning for diverse groups of students.
Amy Forester, EdD, MFA, is an Educational Specialist for Graduate Student Instructional Development in Center for Educational Effectiveness. She is the program director for the Teaching Assistant Consultants program, providing teaching professional development and leadership opportunities for graduate students in the TAC and to the broader teaching assistant community at Davis.
Katie Ranney, MA serves as the Assistant Ombuds in the UC Davis Ombuds Office. Katie holds a Master’s Degree in Communication with a Graduate Certificate in Peace and Conflict Resolution from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Prior to joining UC Davis in 2024, she served as the Program Development Director and in other roles at The Mediation Center of the Pacific in Honolulu for 7 1/2 years. Previous to that, she was an independent facilitator assisting non-profit organizations and state agencies.
Jenny Vaccari, MEd serves as an Associate Ombuds in the UC Davis Ombuds Office. Prior to joining the UC Davis Ombuds Office in 2019, Jenny held several positions in higher education settings, including in non-clinical case management, residence life, disability services, and career services. Jenny is a Certified Organizational Ombuds Practitioner and a member of the International Ombuds Association.
