Overview
Graduate and professional students can earn a certificate in Global Leadership awarded by UC Davis Global Affairs for completing this self-paced set of online modules.
Structure and Learning Outcomes
These online modules consist of videos, readings, written activities and reflections, and practical experience in listening and questioning skills hosted within a Canvas site. As students complete each module, a member of the Experiential and Intercultural Learning team will provide comments and feedback.
The purpose of this program is threefold:
- to enable graduate students to examine global learning concepts related to culture, cultural differences, and identity;
- begin to develop practices of self-reflection to enhance ongoing cultural learning and cultural humility;
- and evaluate the complex global systems in which they work and how cultural values—their own and others—shape them and their engagement with them.
