A Message to Students and Parents
Consider enhancing your knowledge in the field of global agribusiness, while sharing my passion for Costa Rica by enrolling in this internship program. I first fell in love with the extraordinary people and agribusiness sector of Costa Rica while working as a manager for Chiquita Brands International. Over my seven years there, I worked extensively on the local farms, where I had the honor of learning from some of the finest people I have known. My wife and I spent most weekends in the beautiful Turrialba area exploring nature and getting to know the people in the country’s rural areas. One of the gems of Turrialba is the excellent tropical agriculture university, CATIE, which has extensive farming operations throughout the valley. I invite you to share the beauty and wonder of Costa Rica, and especially that of the town and environs of Turrialba.
