Hello everyone! My name is Yumi, and I'm an International Relations major starting my sophomore year. This is my first year as an Administrative Assistant at Study Abroad and I'm beyond thrilled to be a part of my peers' study abroad experiences.
Coming from a biracial family, travel, culture and the broadening of one's mind have always been an important aspect of my life. I've been lucky enough to travel to (and volunteer in) many places in Europe, Central America, and Asia. Out of all of my travels however, the one that's captured my heart is Florence, Italy. The food and culture together with the art and architecture make such an ancient place enchanting.
These kind of places make studying abroad an absolute must! Where else can you sip an Italian cappuccino in the shade of Brunelleschi's duomo?
