Students will live at the UC Washington Center. Prior to move-in, students will need to sign and submit a housing contract.
The building is home to student, faculty, and staff, with all Washington Program courses currently being taught inside the Center. Students from all UC campuses live in the center, along with students from other universities not included in the UC system.
Each 2-bedroom apartment at the UC Washington Center comes furnished and ready for you to have the experience of a lifetime in Washington, D.C. Washington Center Apartments.
UC Davis reserves the right to change the accommodation location. Should this be necessary, we will arrange alternative lodging. Please note that elevators, air conditioners and other modern conveniences may not be available in all locations.
The group will enjoy a welcome meal as class.
Otherwise, students are on their own for meals. Student apartments include equipped kitchens.
Students will benefit from access to the many free public events in DC that link to global policy.

Participation in this UC Davis Study Abroad USA program requires travel to and extended living in a new location. UC Davis Study Abroad endeavors to reduce and mitigate risk wherever possible. However, the environments and risks associated with living in these locations are substantially different than those found during a regular course of study at UC Davis. All participants must download and review the following information prior to departure. Any questions should be directed to the Program Coordinator.
