Apply to work at UC Davis Study Abroad
Study Abroad alumni and/or students interested in working as Student Assistants are invited to apply to join our team at UC Davis Study Abroad. While we accept applications all year, our main recruitment period is January-March. Students currently abroad are also encouraged to apply! Be a PAL
The PAL (Partners in Acquiring Language) Conversation Program pairs up U.S. students with new international students at UC Davis for informal conversation practice for approximately 1 hour per week. If you are able to work with two students, you can receive 1-unit of credit (LIN 99 if you are a freshman or sophomore; LIN 197T if you are a junior or senior. Sign up or stop by the English as a Second Language Program Office in 108 Sproul Hall.
Apply to be a Global Ambassador
Obtain UC credit while befriending and mentoring international students studying at UC Davis. This program is offered through the Services for International Students and Scholars (SISS).
Join the International Students Club
The International Students Club (also on Facebook) aims to strengthen relations among International students at UC Davis, assist incoming International students with their transition to the American culture, welcome any individual who's interested in cross-culture communication, organize academic, holistic and social events for International students on campus, share our cultures and study abroad experience with others, provide social and emotional support for International students and cultivate long lasting friendships.
