Agronomy and Agricultural Awards All Summer Scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students.The deadline to initiate scholarship applications will be in April 2018.
American Womens Club for students studying in Sweden  All  

Open to both male and female U.S. citizens studying in Sweden for at least a year. Scholarship amounts vary but generally the award is sufficient to cover a round-trip economy class ticket between the U.S. and Sweden. 

The Ashley Soule Conroy Foundation Scholarship All Semester, year

Applicants must be planning to participate in a full-time study abroad program for at least 1 semester. Additionally, applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and have financial need. Award amount: $4000. Deadline: July 1, 2017

Barry Goldwater Scholarship  All   To be considered for a nomination, the student must be a sophomore or junior undergraduate pursuing a degree in math, natural sciences, or engineering. Students planning on studying medicine may apply if they plan to pursue research. Must have a college grade-point average of at least "B" (or the equivalent) and be in the upper fourth of his or her class. Must be a U.S. citizen, a permanent resident, or a U.S. national.
Bridging Scholarships  UCEAP, QA Semester or Year 100 Scholarships awarded for studying in Japan. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and must be enrolled as undergraduates in a college or university in the United States before and during the time they are studying abroad. Bridging Scholarship recipients receive a stipend of $2,500 (for students on semester-long programs) or $4,000 (for students on academic year programs). Summer programs are not eligible to apply. Deadline: October
Carolyn F. Wall Scholarship - UC Davis Scholarship All   This scholarship is restricted to undergraduate students in the College of Letters & Science with financial need. Must fill out the Continuing UG scholarship Application: http://financialaid.ucdavis.edu/scholarships/apply.html
Christine Diane Fisher Memorial Award - UC Davis Scholarship EAP Year  

Students studying in Spain; must read & write Spanish & have serious academic interest in Spanish history, language, society, and culture. Must be willing to live with Spanish nationals off-campus in the community during their year abroad in Spain. must fill out the Continuing UG scholarship Application: http://financialaid.ucdavis.edu/scholarships/apply.html

Churchill Foundation Scholarship Master's program The Churchill Scholarship provides funding to American students for a year of Master’s study in science, mathematics, and engineering at the University of Cambridge, based at Churchill College.
CIEE Scholarship   Varies Three different available scholarships of varying amounts up to $2,000. Awards are made based on personal statements from student applicants and financial need, based on economic profile and estimated family contribution (EFC). 
Consulate-General of Japan  All   For students studying in Japan. Applicants must hold U.S. citizenship and must be willing to learn the Japanese language and receive a university education in Japanese or conduct research. 
Cultural Vistas Fellowship     Fellowship for summer internship. Must be U.S. citizen enrolled full-time at four-year college/university, sophomore or junior academic status at the time of application, minimum GPA of 3.0, and prior knowledge of language of host country (for Germany and Argentina). Strong preference will be given to applicants of historically underrepresented groups in international exchange. No formal prior work or study abroad experiences. 
DAAD Germany Scholarships All   Students studying in Germany that are currently second and third year students and will be in their third or fourth year year during their stay in Germany. Demonstrates an interest in contemporary German and European affairs and who expain the significances of their project in Germany to their future studies, research or professional goals.  we consider the academic merit of the individual, the feasibility and quality of the proposal, and the impact of the applicant and application as a whole. Scholarships may be granted for a minimum of four months (one semester) and a maximum of ten months (one academic year).  Recipients will be awarded a monthly stipend of approximately € 650, plus additional funds to help defray travel and research expenses as well as health insurance. 
David Boren Scholarship Min 8 weeks Summer, Semester, Year Preference for countries, languages, and fields of study critical to U.S. national security, academic year programs,and students demonstrating desire to work for the federal government. Summer-only programs must be eight (8) weeks or more and are limited to science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) students. Up to $8,000 for summer program; up to $10,000 semester; up to $20,000 full academic year. Recipients of a Boren Scholarship must accept a Service Requirement to work for the federal government in the national securtiy arena. 
Davis Honors Challenge Scholarship  All   Several international scholarships for high achieving students. 
Delta Phi Alpha Scholarship Varies This one-time award is intended for Sophomore & Junior Delta Phi Alpha Members who are planning to study abroad on an accredited program in a German speaking country during the spring / summer semester of the coming year.  Usually due in November & March. 
Denmark Intern'l Studies Scholarship (DIS)  All   Three different scholarships offered, but only need one application form: DIS Scholarship, Study Abroad in Demark Scholarship, Diversity Scholarship.
Dufrenoy Scholarships to study Sciences in France Year

Each year the Jean et Marie-Louise Dufrenoy scholarships enable two American students in the sciences (mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, medicine, geology, botany) or in technology (engineering, computer science, etc.) to pursue further studies in France during a full academic year within the student’s own field.
The amount of this scholarship is US $25,000 paid in two installments (half in July, half in December). The candidate’s knowledge of French must be at a level that enables studies to be undertaken at the university level.
Deadline: TBA for 2018. Last year's deadline was January 15, 2017

EAP Dan Wise Scholarship UCEAP Year A year-long study abroad program in France honoring Dan Wise. Students participating in any of EAP's year programs in France are eligible. Up to 8 awards of $5000. based on academic performance and financial need.
EAP Duttenhaver Scholarship EAP Year Available for EAP students who will participate in a year-long EAP program. Over 25 awards of $5,000. Based on academic performance and financial need.Applicants must have a passion for studying abroad and a willingness to embrace and learn from the host country's customs, language, and culture.
Paul Duttenhaver Extension Scholars Program      Available for EAP students who extend from a quarter or semester term to spend a full year abraod in one country. 6 award of $2,500 will be disburused on acacdemic perferomance and financial need. 
EAP Research Awards  UCEAP   Undergraduate annual research awards in each of three disciplinary areas: the humanities, social sciences, and sciences and engineering. Each award consists of a $1,000 stipend.
Freeman-ASIA The Freeman-ASIA program is designed to support U.S.-based undergraduates with demonstrated financial need who are planning to study abroad in East or Southeast Asia. The program’s goal is to increase the number of U.S. citizens and permanent residents with first-hand exposure to and understanding of Asia and its peoples and cultures. Deadline: October
Fulbright Scholarship --   Through the Institute of International Education. For study, research, or teaching abroad. Applications are to ONE specific country. If you already have more than one semester of study in a country, you are not eligible to apply to that country. Open to US citizens who will have a bachelor’s degree by the beginning date of the grant, but will not yet have a doctoral degree. Open to candidates thinking of studying, assistant-teaching English, or conducting research abroad.
Gilman International Min 4 weeks Min 4 weeks Must be receiving a Federal Pell Grant or proof that student will be receiving Pell Grant.  Preference for students from diverse ethnic  backgrounds, students with high financial need,  with disabilities, or studying in non-traditional countries or in fields of study underrepresented in study abroad. Over 2,700 scholarships of up to $5,000. Award amounts will vary depending on the length of study and student need with the average award being approximately $4,000 for fall and spring programs, and $3,000 for summer programs. 
Gilman International Scholarships  All at least 4 weeks in one country This scholarship provides awards for U.S. undergraduate students who are receiving Federal Pell Grant funding to participate in study abroad programs worldwide. Over 2,700 scholarships of up to $5,000 will be awarded. Students who apply for and receive the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship to study abroad are then eligible to receive a Critical Need Language Supplement from the Gilman Scholarship Program of $8,000. During the 2013-2014 academic year, 60 Critical Need Language Supplements were offered to Gilman Scholarship recipients.
Go Overseas Study and Intern Abroad Program All Go Overseas offers a bi-annual scholarship to students who are planning on studying or interning abroad. Applicants must submit a photo essay and quick survey to enter. The award of $500, to go to any part of your study or intern abroad trip, is given to the most creative entrant. Deadline: September
Golden Key Honour Society Scholarships All   This honor society offer $1,000,000 in scholarships and awards each year for both undergradute and gradute students. You must have a member number to apply for a scholarship. 
Government Student Aid All   Federal Gov't Scholarships. 
Hispanic Scholarship Fund All   Limited to Hispanic students attending U.S. universities. Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5. Scholarship award amounts range from $500-$5,000. The average award amount is $2,500. These funds may be used to study abroad if the student remains enrolled in a U.S. university, the program occurs during the normal academic year, and the student will be receiving U.S. college credit towards his/her degree. 
Jeanne Marandon fellowships to research & study HSS in France

Each year the Jeanne Marandon fellowship offers students in the field of Human and Social Sciences the opportunity to study and do research in France.
Fellowships 2018-2019 are awarded at five levels: short-stay (less than 3 months), undergrad, Master’s, PhD level and PostDoc.
The exact stipend depends (ranging from US$ 1,500 to US$ 25,000) on the academic level of the proposed project and the length of stay requested.
Applications in all disciplines are considered, but applicants in literature, art, music, history, social sciences and communications have priority. Candidates not yet having studied or pursued a research project in the country for which they are applying also have priority. Must have command of written/spoken French language to conduct research.
Deadline: TBA for 2018. Last year's deadline was January 15, 2017

LGBT Student Scholarships  All   Large search engine for scholarships for LGBT students  both at the undergraduate and graduate-level. (http://www.hrc.org/resources/entry/scholarship-database, not study abroad specific)
Marshall Scholarship -- 1, 2, or 3 years Candidates who have the potential to excel as scholars, as leaders and as contributors to improve UK-US understanding. Be citizens of the US. By the time they take up their scholarship in September 2016 hold their first undergrade degree from an accredited four-year college or university of the US. Need a 3.7 GPA.
National Directory for Latino Youth All   CHCI's scholarship opportunities are afforded to Latino students in the United States who have a history of performing public service-oriented activities in their communities and who demonstrate a desire to continue their civic engagement in the future. There is no GPA or academic major requirement. Students with excellent leadership potential are encouraged to apply.
National Science Foundation  All   Funds research and education in fields of science and engineering.  
National Security Educational Scholarships (NSEP) All   Scholarships to support U.S. undergraduate students participating in study abroad programs in world regions critical to US interests (including Africa, Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America & the Caribbean, and the Middle East), in exchange for a commitment to seek work in the federal government. The countries of Western Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand are excluded. Deadline: February
National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) Scholarships All Semester or Summer Various scholarships awarded to help students attain their goals and commend them for their outstanding academic excellece as well as their leadership and service achievements.  Must have at least a 3.0 GPA. Must be an NSCS member to apply.
Phi Kappa Phi Scholarships All   Seventy-five $1,000 grants are awarded each year to help support undergraduates as they seek knowledge and experience in their academic fields by studying abroad. Applicants must attend an institution with an active Phi Kappa Phi chapter.
Rhodes Scholarship --   For study at Oxford University, UK. Applicants must have impressive grades and leadership experience.   Applicants must be U.S. citizens between 18 and 24 years of age. They must be sufficiently advanced academially to assure completion of a bachelor's degree before October 1 in the year following election. 
Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program (McNair Scholars Program) --   Created to increase educational opportunities to students who are from low-income, first-generation families, and/or those who are from ethnic backgrounds traditionally underrepresented in graduate education. Funded through Department of Education.
Rotary International All   Scholarships for promising students focused on sustainable change. Scholarships can range from short-term studies in a community to a graduate degree program abroad. 
Sara's Wish Scholarship All   Provides financial support for females performing humanitarian work abroad. Scholarships are awarded to applicants who exhibit qualities of leadership, service, and adventure. Only previous award recipients can apply.   
The George J. Mitchell Scholarship --   Scholarship for study in Ireland. NOT for "Irish Studies". Competitive - modeled as the "Marshall Scholarship to Ireland." Designed to introduce and connect future American leaders to the island of Ireland, while recognizing and fostering scholarship, leadership, and a commitment to community and public service. Applicants must have documented evidence of academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to community and public service. 
The Samuel Huntington Public Service Award   one year Provides an annual stipend of $15,000 for a graduating college senior to pursue one year of public service anywhere in the world before proceeding on to graduate school or a career. Applicants must develop a proposal for public service in the U.S. or abroad, either independenty or by working through established public service organizations. 
The Smart Student Guide All   Varied. In general, scholarships are awarded to students with special qualifications, such as academic, athletic, or artistic talent. Scholarships are also available to students who are interested in particular fields of study, who are members of underrepresented groups, or who live in certain areas of the country or who have financial need. 
TAPIF-Teaching Assistant Program in France 7 months

The Teaching Assistant Program in France offers you the opportunity to work in France for 7 months, teaching English to French students of all ages. Each year, over 1,100 American citizens and permanent residents teach in public schools across all regions of metropolitan France and in the overseas departments of French such as Guiana, Guadeloupe, Martinique and Réunion. Must have good level of French language.
The application for the 2018-2019 school year will be available in October 2017 at tapif.org

Tortuga Backpacks Study Abroad Scholarship All To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be a full time student in good academic standing, and have been accepted into a study abroad program. As far as residency requirements, you don't have to necessarily be a resident of the U.S., but you must at least be studying in the U.S. on a student visa. Award amount: $1000. Deadline: December
UC Davis UCEAP Travel Award UCEAP Fall/Year on-cycle Awards range from $1,000 for summer to $2,000 for fall or academic year programs. Over 500 awards will be allocated to qualified students. Students must be enrolled in an EAP program to apply. 
UC Davis International Relations Scholarship All All Scholarships are $500-$1,000 per student and multiple scholarships are awarded each year. Applicants must be full time UCD IR majors in good academic standing with at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicant must have been selected to an eligible study abroad or unpaid internship program in order to receive the scholarship. 
UC Davis Quarter Study Abroad Award QA Fall, Spring quarter. About 10 weeks. Winning applicants will be awarded scholarhips of $500-$2,000.  Students must be enrolled in a UC Davis Quarter Abroad program to apply.  
UC Davis Summer Study Abroad Award SA Summer, 4 weeks Winning applicants will be awarded scholarhips of $500-$2,000.  Students must be enrolled in a UC Davis Summer Abroad program to apply.  
Undergraduate Scholarships Varies Varies Over two hundred scholarship funds by college, high school, geographic affiliation, ancestry, ethnicity, gender, national origin, religion, special conditions, or unrestricted.
UNCF African American Scholarship All   Offers a multitude of scholarships for African American students.
Youth Activity Fund All   Provides college undergraduates with funds for field research in the sciences. Awards range from $500 to $5,000, the average award being $2,500.
