Students will participate in a professional Engineering-related internship for 35-40 hours per week and have the opportunity to receive transcript notation. Immediately after students enroll in the program there will be a separate internship application due that is required in order to participate in the program. Students will receive information about deadlines for the supplementary application which will require a resume and an online application to the program provider, CIS Abroad. Internship placement will be based on 2 interviews (including a Skype interview) student interest and experience as highlighted in the supplementary application. During a student’s interview for an internship, the student will get an idea of the types of placements that will be possible for them, includingexamples of past placements where students of similar backgrounds have been matched without guaranteeing anything specific. Final internship placement will be determined just prior to departure. Click on the engineering internship examples below to get an idea of the types of engineering placements that can be offered.
